By Any Other Name

Hello, and welcome to Post #2 of Nail Me, Baby!

This is a design I had a very hard time naming, but it would be the same look By Any Other Name.

I started with my Seche Clear base coat, and then painted a layer of gold by Nail Savvy.

I used Bundle Monster Plate #20 for the design.

With the dark purple from Avon, I painted the design I chose from the plate.
Using a scraper tool, remove the access polish from the metal plate.

Using a stamper tool, lift the polish from the engraving on the plate, and roll the design onto the existing gold base.

And there you have it! Go ahead and comment if you have something to say!

Winter Glitter and Glow

Hello there!

Welcome to Nail Me, Baby! This is my new blog dedicated to my nail designs and nail art.

I find inspiration in lots of different places. Tonight, however, I had a really hard time coming up with something I was really excited about. So... We get simple Winter Glitter and Glow.

I used Seche Clear as a base coat, and then two thick layers of Mini Divas "Star Estrella".

This isn't really my favorite brand of polish. It's really transparent and takes quite a bit to make it opaque. You can see in this pic that it's not even totally opaque with the amount that I used. But I like the color, so I use it when nothing else will suffice.

Then, I put a drop of Pure Ice "Bring On The Joy" at the base of the nail.

Wipe all the excess off the brush back into the bottle to leave a relatively clean brush.

Use this brush to drag the glitter away from the base toward the end of the nail. It shouldn't cover the entire nail.

Top with 2 coats of Seche Vite top coat and allow to dry.

And there you go! I hope you enjoy my blog. Feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think, or leave suggestions for future manicures.
